Route Description


How to get to the Funny Farm:

By public transport:
-Take tram 5 from central station to amstelveen,
get out at end point.
-Walk to the big busstation from Amstelveen (5 min).
-take bus 149 to Uithoorn, get out at the ferry ("de Fuut") on the Amstel river and take that ferry to the other side and walk 3 more minutes to the farm at number 49 (right across cafe 'de Zwarte Kat').

Ferry only works from 12:00 untill 17:45
If you want to come at another time it's better to take the red bus number 300 from Bijlmer station (amsterdam zuid-oost) and get out in the village Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and then walk to the farm (40 min)
or:
take tram 5 or metro 51 from Amsterdam C.S. to Amstelveen, get out at Oranjebaan.
Walk to the village Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, then on to the farm (40 min.)

Tip: You can take your bike into the metro and then cycle from Oranjebaan to the farm (20 min.)


By Bike:
Follow the Amstel river to the south until you see the sign "Ouderkerk aan de Amstel",
then cross the river to the left over the bridge.
After the bridge turn right into the village.
Go straight until the cafe
Turn right at cafe.
Cross little bridge between the two big churches.
Follow signs "Rondehoep West" until you reach number 49
